You may have read that Microsoft will be releasing the new version of Windows Vista currently scheduled for release in February 2007. If you are someone who eagerly awaits new technology releases, please be patient. The UMS LAN Support staff is already testing application and productivity suite for incompatibilities.

For all major changes to operating systems UMS recommends that you wait at least six months after the release date to upgrade your current working environment. Because this upgrade is a major re-write of the operating system, kinks and incompatibilities are inevitable. UMS expects that within six months to one year after the release of Vista, all systems and applications will be fully compatible.
