UCDHSC-DDC Meetings

The Lawrence Street Center Building is on the upper right-hand side of the map, on Lawrence Street, between 13th and 14th Streets. The CU Building (aka Dravo) is across the street from the Lawrence Street Building, but its main entrance is on 14th Street, between Larimer and Lawrence Streets. The North Classroom Building is the large L-shaped building located just south of Speer Boulevard at the AHEC (just east of where Larimer Street continues south of Speer Boulevard.) The Tivoli Student Union Building is the distinct looking former brewery at the AHEC, southwest and adjacent to the AHEC athletic fields. St. Cajetan's Church/Center at AHEC is just southeast of the King Center, which in turn is just southeast east of the Tivoli Parking Lot.

Some downtown Denver meetings and training sessions are held in the 1st Floor Conference Room of 1800 Grant St., the same building in which the President's Office and various other University Administrative Offices are located (on the 8th floor.) 1800 Grant St. is 3 blocks east of Broadway on the corner of E. 18th Ave. and Grant St. Paid parking is available in a private lot across the street. The cost is $9/day and parking-machine payment is by cash or credit card. Map of 1800 Grant St. and environs.

DDC/AHEC Parking

There are private parking lots near the Lawrence Street Center Building and the CU Building, on Larimer Street, 14th Street, South Speer, etc. The cost/day ranges from $7.00 - $8.00. There are also meters on the street. AHEC campus visitor parking is available in the Tivoli Lot, just south of Ninth Street and Auraria Parkway, for $5/day. Free parking is available on each CU campus, including at UCDHSC-DDC/AHEC, for faculty/staff members who possess a parking permit from their home campus. For UCDHSC-DDC and AHEC meetings, free parking for parking permit holders from any campus is available in AHEC Lots E and W. Lot E is 3 blocks southwest of the Tivoli Student Union Building, Lot E is 4 blocks southwest of Tivoli. Please consult the UCDHSC-DDC/AHEC Map for details.

UCDHSC-HSC Meetings

For meetings held at HSC, whether at the 9th/Colorado Campus or at the Fitzsimons Campus, specific locations, directions and parking information will be posted here as meetings/events are scheduled, and/or sent to participants directly by e-mail in advance of the meetings. Free parking is available on each CU campus, including at UCDHSC-HSC, for faculty/staff members who possess a parking permit from their home campus. UCB and Off-Campus Project Meetings

Meetings at UCB will frequently occur at the University Management Systems (UMS) building, which is not on campus. UMS is located at 4780 Pearl East Circle in Boulder (across from Boulder Toyota.) Take the Pearl Street exit from Foothills Parkway, heading right/east on Pearl Street. Pearl East Circle is then the first right turn from Pearl Street (approximately 75 meters east from the end of the exit off-ramp.) 4780 is directly ahead of you after you turn right on Pearl East Circle. Free parking is avaliable in front of the building.

The New Project Office in Boulder

A new SIS Replacement Project office site has been established in Boulder in the building just east of and adjacent to the UMS building. The address of the new office is Suite 300 E, East Tower, 4840 Pearl East Circle. Driving directions from Denver to this building are the same as those described above for UMS, except, as noted, 4840 Pearl East Circle is the building just east of UMS. The West Tower of this building also has the same 4840 address, so be sure to go to/enter the East Tower. In the East Tower lobby, take the elevator or stairs to the 3rd Floor, Suite 300 E. Free parking is available in front of and on the east side of this building.

UCB Parking

For meetings on the Boulder Campus, specific directions and parking information will be posted here as meetings/events are scheduled. For general information about UCB building locations and parking, please consult the Map of UCB (Main Campus). Free parking is available on each CU campus, including at UCB, for faculty/staff members who possess a parking permit from their home campus. For further details, please see CU Reciprocal Parking.

Public Transportation

RTD SERVICE - Boulder-DDC, Boulder-HSC-9th/Colorado, and Boulder-HSC Fitzsimons

RTD runs express and regular service between Boulder and downtown Denver, and regular service between Boulder and the HSC 9th/Colorado Campus and Boulder and the HSC Fitzsimons Campus.

For Boulder-Denver downtown travel, the RTD Market Street Station in Denver is only a few blocks from the UCDHSC-DDC, anda little further to AHEC meeting locations, including the Tivoli Student Union Building. The UCB Main campus is a regular stop(s) for the Denver to Boulder busses, but there are no stops close to UMS. For Boulder-HSC 9th/Colorado travel, the RTD stop is directly at 9th/Colorado, and for Boulder-HSC Fitzsimons travel, the RTD stop is adjacent to the CU Health Sciences complex.

The following table is a quick-reference guide with schedule examples for getting to and from a 9 a.m.-4p.m. meeting at any of the three Denver campuses:

Boulder-Denver Express Service (to UCDHSC-DDC and AHEC vicinity)

* Note: There are also 4:30 p.m., 4:50 p.m., and frequent other Express Service departures from Market St. Station to Boulder between 5 and 7 p.m.

Boulder-Denver UCDHSC-HSC Colorado/9th Campus Service

+ Note: The next and final departure of the day to Boulder from 9th/Colorado leaves at 5:46 p.m. and arrives at the Boulder Walnut Station at 7:07 p.m.

Boulder-Denver UCDHSC-HSC Fitzsimons Campus Service

** Note: The next and final departure of the day to Boulder from Fitzsimons leaves at 5:10 p.m. and arrives at the Boulder Walnut Station at 6:44 p.m.

SUMMIT CONFERENCE AND EVENTS CENTER Meetings

Vendors' Scripted Demonstrations will take place at the Summit Conference and Events Center, 411 Sable Boulevard North, Aurora.

Directions: From I-225 (whether heading North or South on I-225), take 6th Avenue East. At the second light, turn right on to Sable Boulevard and go south approximately 1/8th of a mile. Turn right into the Sixth and Sable Plaza parking lot. Go south in the parking lot past the Hobby Lobby. The Summit Conference Center is located between the Hobby Lobby and the DMV office. Parking is free. Directions/Map to the Summit Conference-Events Center.
