The Center for Computational Pharmacology has developed several novel techniques for the analysis of gene expression array data, as well as other techniques for the inference of metabolic and signaling pathways from genetic, proteomic and transcriptional data, and for the management of large collections of biomedical documents. We have recently embarked on a concerted effort to bring knowledge-based systems to bear in computational biology, both for summarizing or annotating high throughput results, and for improving the quality of analysis of biomedical texts.
