Visualising the IRM Web site as a whole

The directory structure, indexing mechanisms, menus, push buttons, and all of the other features of the IRM Web site (from standard footers to standard nomenclature) all cumulatively determine whether it is usable and understandable to the intended audience. A model of the Web site can help you, as the designer or maintainer of the IRM Web site, by representing selected features of the site so that those features map to each other and to mental models of the web site user, the designer and the maintainer.

So far this is the best model we have come up with:
